Our work began with a simple observation: visitors often meet a city through its queueing system. We wanted to offer another tempo. Coastline Ledger runs routes that use familiar landmarks as a starting point and then make room for the minor details that carry a place's character.

In North Yorkshire Coast, that means adapting to the light, weather, footfall and the occasional useful conversation with a local shopkeeper. It also means being plain about what a tour includes, what it costs and where it begins.
